A message dated February 23, 1998, was read stating the Senate has             
passed CSHB 137(L&C) with the following amendment and it is                    
transmitted for consideration:                                                 
                                                                               
SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 137(STA)                                  
"An Act relating to veterinarians; extending the termination date             
of the Board of Veterinary Examiners; and providing for an                     
effective date."
